Bible Truths are beautiful and should be presented in a Christ-like manner.

APOSTOLIC DOCTRINE - Back To Contents

What is meant by "Apostolic Doctrine"?
Apostolic means like the Apostles. Thus, our doctrine or church teaching is, to the best of our understanding, the same as taught by the Apostles.

What are the basic beliefs?
We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God. We believe the Scriptural account of the Creation; that Adam and Eve, the first man and woman, sinned and were driven fro the Garden of Eden with the curse of death upon them

Since God desired to have fellowship and love from the man He had created, he set forth in motion a plan for his redemption. This plan, through the dispensation of Law and types and shadows, eventuated in the dispensation of Grace and the coming to earth of Jesus Christ who was God incarnated. I Timothy 3:16, "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."

What do we have to do to be saved?
This same question was asked in the Book of Acts, Chapter 2, verses 37 and 38 … "Men and brethren, what shall we do? (v.38). Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."

What is repentance?
To regret past sins; to change one's actions because of regretted past acts; when one feels sorry for sinning again God and asks His forgiveness with the intentions of changing -- this is repentance.
